Sianhi Lux

Sianhi is a runaway from a mixed-clan tribe of Seekers of the Sun Miqo'te. Due to complications, his aether has been void-corrupted, which leads him to the lifestyle of a wanderer, so as not to harm people he meets by prolonged exposure to his aether.

He has taken up a pirate's life, always after new adventures and seeking new treasure, hoping to one day find his own place in the world and be free of his past and present corruption.

The small Miqo'te can often be seen visiting bars and flirting with danger, never one to value his own self-preservation in light of some good fun. Though a bit rough around the edges, he can be an extremely caring friend for life when one is able to get to know him.

Typically seen wearing his old Redbill uniform or some form of blue, as well as flowers in his hair to honor his late mother.

Trained in the ways of the machinist and the sage, with some experience in astrology and the entertainment arts.

Wandering Explorer: Experiencing true freedom and finding his place in the world is Sianhi's desire, going where the wind blows and being as unlimited as the sky. He's always interested in learning about things and places he's never encountered before.

Beating Corruption: He seeks to find a cure for his aetheric corruption so that he can form lasting bonds with others without fear of being a danger.

Pirate's Life for Me: Sianhi loves talking about his life as part of the Redbills and now on his own with his personal pirate vessel. Let's go find some treasure!

Found Family: Above all else, Sianhi wants to belong. He craves companionship and friends and family to love.

Sianhi was raised within the mixed-clan Seeker of the Sun tribe, the L tribe, dwelling in the underground caverns in Northern Thanalan, and not knowing much of the outside world, his freedom vastly restricted by the tribe's controlling Nunh.

Due to sketchy practices with void magic and mistreatment and abuse within the tribe, along with the cold-blooded murder of his mother, Sianhi abandoned his given Seeker name and took on his own, choosing to forsake typical miqo'te naming conventions.

There was one particular dangerous Mhachi artifact that the L tribe was using in void magic experimentation, causing destruction in the tribe. Sianhi stole it in an attempt to save the members of his tribe from corruption and death. Unfortunately, the result ended up in his own aether corrupting with the void, bringing him pain and causing him to be a danger to those around him.

Immediately, Sianhi was labeled a traitor and the rest of the tribe's warriors were tasked with bringing him to justice before the Nunh, his father. This forced the young Miqo'te into exile, fleeing the wrath of the tribe he had tried to save.

On the run, Sianhi came across the Redbill sky pirates in the Sea of Clouds, who took him in and were able to help him control a bit of his void corruption by disabling the artifact. He owes a lot to them and still holds them fondly in high regard, having acquired his own airship during his time as one of them.

Sianhi is trained in the arts of the machinist and the sage, favoring the sage as his primary choice, as he values the ability to aid others when he, himself, feels like such a danger to them. He also has minor skill with astrologian magic and the art of entertainment from his old life in the L tribe.

A brazen demeanor hides his more sensitive and shy self, adapting a 'fake it til you make it' manner to try to give off the air of confidence and gain respect, though it normally comes across more as a childish 'I do what I want' attitude.

Enjoys companionship, though he has reservations about getting too close with someone despite his desire for close relationships and people to love, which is often shown through flirting and teasing.

Often gets into dangerous situations due to his pirate lifestyle, having a bit too little care about his own health and safety.

A bit of a cuddle bug and is drawn to warm things like fireplaces or someone's body heat and will unconsciously snuggle up into soft pillows or with someone close to him that he trusts if they let him.
